  • Worked for ten years for the Engineering Office of the Dutch Railways as urban planner and project leader.
  • Worked for reconstruction projects in several station areas (as Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Tilburg), new raillinks of the High Speed Train to Paris and Germany and strategic, innovative studies on networks and mobility.
  • Working as an independent advisor for urban planning since 1999, and since july 2000 acting manager of Urban Unlimited, consultancy in urban development within the network society.
  • Author of books and articles regarding mobility and urban planning.
  • Managing director of the Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam since 2007
